Mom first — and the steadiest hands on the homestead. Jessie keeps a sourdough starter alive on the counter and the garden thriving out back, equal parts baker and grower. She's the one who keeps the rest of us fed, and keeps the whole thing honest.

We're a small crew today, and we like it that way. As the rack expands and the garden starts doing more than feed us, we'll be hiring — and looking for volunteers along the way, especially for harvest days, market mornings, and the slow seasonal pushes where another set of hands makes the work feel less like work.
