Microgreens, organically grown on a single rack.
What we're growing right now: five shelves of organically grown microgreens — sunflower, pea, radish, broccoli — on a staggered rotation under pink-and-white light.
Microgreens are where Wilder Roots starts.
One rack, five shelves, a mix of pink and white grow lights on a timer. Sunflower, pea, radish and broccoli, staggered so something is finishing every week. Organically grown — no synthetic fertilizer, no chemical anything, just seed, water, light, and the discipline of a clean rotation.
What's on the rack right now
- Sunflower — top shelf, harvests fastest, easiest to learn on
- Pea — sweet, structural, takes the longest
- Radish — peppery, the kitchen test
- Broccoli — most nutrient-dense, slowest to germinate
We'll write up each variety properly as we get a feel for it. For now: it's clean, it's consistent, and it's growing.
